About Me:

I’m your host, Anand Ganesan. Byteonic is where I focus on the business of innovation on Enterprise/Web 2.0 technologies. The insight is provided based on my experience, working/consulting for the fortune 100 enterprises, ground zero startups and some world class consulting firm(s), for almost a decade in North America. However I’m currently based out of San Francisco-Bay Area. In short, I have performed in multiple roles from being an application architect, written code, an infrastructure architect to someone being responsible for driving technical operational efficiency across a division.

Why Byteonic?

There are so many popular websites reporting on web 2.0 and enterprise technologies, so what is unique about Byteonic? you may ask. I use my experience in providing that additional technical coverage on a product or service that you may not find elsewhere on the web (for example check out some of these publications). The motivation to this rationale is based on couple of things:

1. In the current web 2.0 or cloud computing world, there are multiple options for a technical organization or for a technologist to implement a feature using third party service or product. While having many options is great, however, the implementation must be done in very little time, in order, to keep up with the competition in the market. Here’s where Byteonic helps in saving you time on your analysis, by providing unbiased, candid reviews of products or services based on the underlying technology. The evaluation is done covering multiple dimensions. However most of the analysis is presented in an easy to understand high level format and seldom implementation details are discussed.

2. Tech. VC’s and investors typically get carried away with the noise surrounding a technology or a service. However here’s where Byteonic can help by presenting an unbiased opinion purely based on tech. analysis which can help them make better decisions.
