SpringSource (formerly Interface21) unveils Spring Integration, a framework to build enterprise integration solutions.
Highlights:

1. To simplify the development of enterprise integration solutions without compromising on flexibility.
2. Facilitate the move towards SOA and message driven apps.
3. Includes support for JMS, remoting, email, scheduling, aspect-oriented programming, event publication and  subscription, and transaction management among other things.
4. Provides extension points through adapters, content based routers, content enrichers, message filters and message translators.
5. Design based on strategy interface definitions
The release of Spring Integration 1.0 will be available sometime in Q2 of 2008.
